The fly past that rocked me

I think I’ve become a bit hardened lately … fed up with what’s happening in the political arena here, there and everywhere … and not particularly impressed by much in the business & marketing world lately … and then this happened to me on Friday 22nd February. Tony happened to me.

If you don’t know the story … here’s your catch-up opportunity.

I was consumed by this. I was moved to tears (a lot of tears). It rejigged this tainted girl’s heart and reminded me to get back to the business of humanity.

It’s encouraged me to stop relying on businesses and so called ‘leaders’ to impress and turn to ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Tony is my hero. A true leader.  Why?

Because he exudes all the traits we long for in true leaders …

Commitment to others

Determination

Endurance

Gratitude

Patience

Sacrifice

Integrity

Humility

… and when the rewards for living all these qualities finally come home (even if it takes 75 years) … what joy!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been truly stirred by something.

Thank you Tony. I needed that.
